As we go into these End Times, yes please prepare because the enemy is also using hidden tricks to destroy your life and soul. I understand the frustration if you’re not able to speak in tongues or seeing other people make jokes and craziness out of it, but this is an important gift to consider or developed.
Think about how EASY it is to get bad habits, therefore if you’re not gaining good habits then by default your spiritual life will get worse. There is a fight in the spiritual world to avoid eternal h3ll fire that YOU (humans) must engage in and can ONLY overcome with Christ. Only Jesus overcame the world and ALL of the visible and invisible enemies. Therefore, YOU (who’s trying to get into heaven) have to pay attention to the matters that are also seen and unseen.
The moral of the story is how there are realities, including spiritual opposition and influences that can affect thoughts, emotions, and circumstances. Spiritual warfare is sometimes viewed as complex and not always mentally or emotionally discernible, tongues are considered a way to remain spiritually engaged, strengthened, and protected without relying solely on natural understanding. Here’s an insightful testimony about this amazing gift that I also have to developed. Amen🗡️
Jesus discussing how speaking in tongues is a biblical gift intended for prayer, worship, intercession, spiritual growth, and spiritual warfare. Jesus emphasized that salvation comes through faith in Him alone, not through any spiritual gift, and that tongues should be practiced with love, humility, discernment, and biblical order. After recovering, the narrator says she and her husband studied Scripture, received the gift of tongues, and experienced renewed spiritual growth, leading her to encourage others to seek biblical understanding of the gift for themselves.
I Died & What Jesus Revealed About Speaking in Tongues Will Shock You – Jesus NDE Shocking Testimony
I’m about to share something with you that will completely change how you view speaking in tongues forever. My name is Valerie Moore. I’m a 42 years old Sunday school teacher at my church in Dallas. And 3 months ago, I died for 18 minutes during a routine surgery that went horribly wrong. What Jesus revealed to me about speaking in tongues during those 18 minutes will shock every single person watching this video, whether you believe in tongues or not […] That happened when I was having my gallbladder removed, what doctors call a simple laparoscopic procedure. I thought I’d be home the same day. Instead, I flatlined on that operating table when my body went into anaphylactic shock from the anesthesia. The medical team worked frantically to bring me back. But for 18 minutes, I was clinically dead.
The moment my heart stopped, I found myself standing in what I can only describe as the most beautiful place I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t like anything earthly, but somehow I knew exactly where I was. I was in the presence of Jesus Christ himself. He appeared to me not as the paintings show, but as pure love, pure light, pure peace. When he spoke, it wasn’t with an audible voice, but I heard him clearly in my spirit.
And the first thing he said to me was, “Valerie, I want to show you something that my children have been confused about for far too long.” Suddenly, we were transported to what looked like a vast library, but instead of books, there were scrolls and tablets of light. Jesus gestured toward them and said, “These contain the truths about the gifts I’ve given to my church. Truths that have been twisted, misunderstood, and even rejected by many of my people.” He pulled out what appeared to be a scroll of brilliant light. And as he opened it, I could see words in every language that has ever existed flowing across its surface. “This,” Jesus said, “is about the gift of tongues that I gave to my church. And I want you to understand exactly what it is and what it isn’t.”
I have to tell you, I was raised in a denomination that taught tongues had passed away with the apostles. My husband and I had even left churches because they practiced speaking in tongues. We thought it was either fake or demonic. But what Jesus was about to show me would completely shatter everything I believed. Jesus looked at me and said, “Valerie, do you remember when you were a little girl and you had secrets with your daddy that only the two of you shared? Special words, special games, special ways of communicating that no one else understood.” I nodded, remembering how my father and I had our own little language when I was young. “That,” Jesus said, “is what tongues are meant to be between my children and me. It’s an intimate language of the heart, a way for my Spirit to pray through you when your mind doesn’t know what to pray.”
Then he showed me something that absolutely amazed me. I could see believers all around the world, and some of them were praying in languages I’d never heard. But what I saw happening in the spiritual realm was incredible. As they prayed in tongues, I could see prayers going up like arrows of light directly to the throne of God. And I could see demons fleeing from around these people like they were being burned by fire.
Jesus explained, “When my children pray in tongues, they’re praying perfect prayers. The Holy Spirit is praying through them exactly what needs to be prayed. The enemy cannot understand it, cannot intercept it, and cannot stop it.”
He showed me a woman in China who was praying in tongues for her persecuted church. In the spirit realm, I could see how her prayers were creating a protective shield around believers who were about to be arrested. Another man in Africa was praying in tongues, and I watched as his prayers were literally opening doors for the gospel in his village. “But Lord,” I said, “my church taught me that tongues passed away when the Bible was completed. They said, ‘When the perfect came, tongues would cease.'”
Jesus smiled sadly and opened another section of the scroll. “Look closely at what Paul wrote to the Corinthians. He said, ‘Tongues will cease when the perfect comes. When we see face to face, when we know fully even as we are known.’ Valerie, do you know me fully right now? Do you see me as I truly am in all my glory?” I had to admit I didn’t. Even in this amazing experience, I knew I was only seeing a tiny fraction of who Jesus really is. “Then tongues haven’t ceased,” Jesus said. “When my children come home to heaven, when they see me face to face and know me completely, then tongues will no longer be needed. But while they’re on earth, this gift is vital for spiritual warfare and intimate communication with me.”
Then Jesus showed me something that broke my heart. I could see churches all over the world where pastors were teaching against tongues. Where believers were mocking those who spoke in tongues, where people were being told they couldn’t be filled with the Holy Spirit.
“These divisions grieve my heart,” Jesus said. “I never intended for my gifts to divide my people. I intended for them to build up my church and draw my children closer to me.”
He then explained something that completely changed my understanding. “Valerie, there are different types of tongues, and this is where much confusion comes from.” Jesus showed me four distinct types. First, he showed me the day of Pentecost. This was tongues as a sign to unbelievers. My disciples spoke in known human languages they had never learned, and people from many nations heard the gospel in their own tongues. This still happens today when I need to reach someone with the gospel in their own language.
Then he showed me churches where someone would speak in tongues and another person would interpret. This is the gift of tongues for the church coupled with interpretation. This is meant to edify the entire congregation to give them a message from me. But notice Paul said this should be done in order with interpretation and if there’s no interpreter, the person should remain silent.
The third type Jesus showed me was tongues for intercession. I watched as believers around the world prayed in tongues for situations they knew nothing about in their natural minds. But the Holy Spirit was interceding through them for exactly what needed to be prayed.
Romans 8:26 says, “The Spirit helps in our weaknesses, for we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” Jesus explained, “Sometimes those groanings come out as tongues.”
Then Jesus showed me the fourth type. And this is where I got emotional. It was tongues for personal prayer and worship. I could see believers in their private prayer time, speaking in languages of heaven. And I could see how it was affecting them spiritually. Their spirits were being built up. They were being refreshed. They were entering into deep intimacy with God.
This is what Paul meant when he said, “He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself.” “It’s not selfish. It’s necessary. How can my children give to others if they’re not built up themselves? How can they fight spiritual battles if their spirits are weak?”
Jesus then addressed something that really bothered me. “Lord, what about people who fake it? What about people who just make up sounds?” His expression became serious. “Valerie, people fake many things. They fake being saved. They fake love. They fake worship. Does that mean salvation, love, and worship aren’t real? The enemy always brings a counterfeit for everything I do because he knows how powerful my genuine gifts are.”
He showed me churches where people were genuinely speaking in tongues and I could see the spiritual fruit it was producing in their lives. Then he showed me places where people were faking it and I could see there was no spiritual power, no real connection with God.
“My true sheep knows my voice,” Jesus said. “And when someone genuinely receives the gift of tongues from me, they know it’s real. It doesn’t come from their mind. It comes from their spirit, quickened by my Holy Spirit.”
Then Jesus showed me something that shocked me about church history. I could see how throughout the centuries whenever God wanted to bring revival and spiritual awakening, the gift of tongues would manifest. It happened with the early church. It happened during various revivals throughout history. And it’s happening now in many parts of the world.
“The enemy fights this gift more than any other,” Jesus explained. “Because he knows how powerful it is. When my people pray in tongues, they’re praying mysteries. They’re building themselves up spiritually. They’re engaging in warfare he cannot understand or stop.”
I asked Jesus about all the controversy and division over tongues. His response was profound. “Valerie, the problem isn’t the gift. It’s how people handle the gift. Some people make it the most important thing instead of making me the most important thing. Others reject it entirely because they’re afraid or because they’ve been taught against it. Both responses are wrong.”
Jesus then showed me what healthy churches look like where tongues are practiced properly. I could see believers who had the gift exercising it in their private prayer time, building themselves up spiritually. I could see church services where tongues and interpretation happened in order, edifying the whole congregation. I could see people praying in tongues for situations around the world that they knew nothing about naturally, but God was interceding through them.
“This is how I intended it to work,” Jesus said, “Not to create division, but to create power, not to make people proud, but to make them humble as they realize they need my Spirit to even pray effectively.”
Then Jesus addressed something that had always confused me. Why some people speak in tongues and others don’t. “Valerie, I give different gifts to different people. Not because I love some more than others, but because my body has many parts. Some I call to be teachers, some to be evangelists, some to work miracles, some to have faith for healing. Not everyone speaks in tongues, just like not everyone teaches or works miracles.”
But then he said something that surprised me. “However, anyone can ask me for any gift and if it’s in their best interest and mine, I will give it to them.” The problem is many people don’t ask because they don’t believe or they ask with wrong motives. Jesus showed me people who desperately wanted to speak in tongues but had been told they couldn’t. And I could see the sadness in his eyes.
“I want to give good gifts to my children, but pride, unbelief, and unforgiveness often block them from receiving.” He also showed me people who spoke in tongues but looked down on those who didn’t. And again, I could see his sadness. “The gifts are meant to serve others, not to create spiritual pride.”
Then Jesus began teaching me about the practical benefits of tongues. And this part absolutely amazed me.
“When someone prays in tongues,” Jesus explained, “several things happen. First, their spirit is communicating directly with me, bypassing their natural mind with all its limitations and fears. Second, they’re praying perfect prayers because my Spirit is doing the praying through them. Third, they’re building themselves up spiritually. It’s like spiritual exercise that makes them stronger.”
He showed me believers who regularly prayed in tongues, and I could see how much stronger they were spiritually than those who didn’t. They had more discernment, more faith, more power in spiritual warfare.
“Fourth,” Jesus continued, “when they pray in tongues, they often receive revelation and direction they wouldn’t get otherwise because their mind gets quiet and their spirit becomes more sensitive to my voice.”
Jesus showed me a man who was praying in tongues about a business decision. He had no idea what to do naturally. But as he prayed in tongues, I could see how the Holy Spirit was downloading wisdom and direction into his spirit. Later, when he stopped praying in tongues, that wisdom would surface in his mind as his own thoughts. But it actually came from God. “This is what Isaiah meant when he said, ‘For with stammering lips and another tongue he will speak to these people, to whom he said, this is the rest with which you may cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing,'” Jesus explained.
Then Jesus addressed something that really concerned me. I had seen churches where things got chaotic and out of order. “Paul addressed this in 1 Corinthians 14,” Jesus said. “He wasn’t trying to stop tongues. He was trying to bring order to how they were used. In the church gathering, everything should be done for edification in order and with interpretation when someone speaks in tongues publicly.”
Jesus showed me the difference between private tongues and public tongues. “Private tongues are between the individual and God and can be done anytime anywhere. Public tongues are meant to edify the whole church and should always have interpretation. The problem comes when people don’t understand this distinction,” Jesus said. “They either think all tongues should be public, which creates chaos, or they think all tongues should be private, which limits my ability to speak to the whole church through this gift.”
Then Jesus showed me something about spiritual warfare that completely changed my perspective. I could see the spiritual realm over the earth, and there was a massive battle going on. But when believers prayed in tongues, it was like having secret weapons that the enemy couldn’t detect or counter. “This is why the enemy fights this gift so hard,” Jesus said. “When my people pray in tongues, they’re praying strategies and solutions the enemy can’t understand. They’re releasing spiritual power he can’t stop. They’re building up their spirits in ways that make them stronger warriors.”
Jesus showed me a woman who was praying in tongues for her rebellious teenage son. In the spiritual realm, I could see her prayers like arrows of light, breaking demonic strongholds around the boy. She had no idea what specifically to pray for, but the Holy Spirit was praying through her exactly what needed to be prayed.
“She tried to pray in English for her son,” Jesus explained, “but her emotions and fears got in the way. When she prays in tongues, my Spirit can intercede through her without the limitations of her natural understanding.”
Then Jesus addressed what happens when people are afraid of tongues or think it’s demonic. “Valerie, I am not the author of confusion or fear. If someone asks me for the Holy Spirit, I will not give them a demonic spirit. The problem is when people don’t test the spirits, when they accept anything supernatural without discernment.”
He showed me how to test tongues. “Any true gift from me will glorify me, will line up with my word, and will produce good fruit in the person’s life. If someone claims to speak in tongues, but their life doesn’t show my fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, then something is wrong.” Jesus also showed me that true tongues come with self-control. “My Spirit produces self-control, not chaos. Someone who truly speaks in tongues can start and stop at will. They don’t lose control or go into trances or act bizarre.”
Then Jesus began to address some of the specific controversies I had heard about tongues. “Some people say you must speak in tongues to be saved,” Jesus said sadly. “This grieves me because it puts the focus on a gift instead of on me. Salvation comes through faith in me and what I did on the cross, not through any gift or work.”
He showed me people who spoke in tongues but had never truly been born again and people who were genuinely saved but had never spoken in tongues.
“The gift doesn’t save anyone. I save people and then I give gifts to help them serve me and grow closer to me.”
Jesus also addressed the teaching that you must speak in tongues to be filled with the Holy Spirit. “Being filled with my Spirit is about surrender and obedience, not about any particular gift. Someone can be completely filled with my Spirit and never speak in tongues. And someone can speak in tongues but not be filled with my Spirit if they’re living in rebellion.”
But then Jesus said something that surprised me. “However, tongues are often a doorway into a deeper experience with my Spirit. When someone receives this gift and uses it properly, it often opens them up to more of my presence and power in their lives.”
Then Jesus addressed the cessationist teaching that tongues stopped with the apostles. “Valerie, where in my word did I say the gifts would stop before I return? Paul said tongues would cease when the perfect comes, when we see face to face. Show me one person on earth who sees me face to face and knows me completely as I know them.”
Jesus opened the scroll of light again and showed me passage after passage about spiritual gifts being for the whole church age. “These gifts are not just for apostles or for the first century. They’re for my church until I return.” He showed me believers throughout history who spoke in tongues, not just in modern Pentecostal movements, but throughout the centuries. “The gift never left, but sometimes it was driven underground by religious leaders who didn’t understand it or were afraid of it.”
Then Jesus showed me something that broke my heart. I could see pastors and church leaders who were teaching against tongues. And I could see how their teachings were preventing people from receiving this gift that could help them tremendously in their spiritual lives. “These leaders mean well,” Jesus said, “but they’re letting fear and tradition override my word. They’re taking away something I wanted to give my people.” But then Jesus showed me the other extreme, churches where tongues were overemphasized to the point where people focused more on the gift than on him. “Both extremes grieve me,” Jesus said. “The gift should point people to me, not become an end in itself.”
Jesus then began to teach me practical things about how tongues work. “When someone first receives this gift, it often starts small, just a few syllables or sounds. As they step out in faith and use it, it develops and grows. It’s like learning any language. You start with simple words and grow into fluency.” He showed me people who had just received the gift and were afraid to use it because it sounded strange to them.
“Tell them not to worry about how it sounds,” Jesus said. “It’s not meant to sound like their natural language. It’s a spiritual language.” Jesus also addressed something that confused many people. Why tongues sometimes sound like gibberish? “To the natural ear, it may sound like gibberish, but in the spiritual realm, it’s meaningful communication. Remember, my ways are not your ways, and my thoughts are not your thoughts. What seems foolish to man is often wise to me.”
He showed me how tongues bypass the natural mind and flow from the spirit. “This is why Paul said, ‘When he prayed in tongues, his spirit prayed, but his understanding was unfruitful.’ The mind doesn’t need to understand everything for it to be real and valuable.”
Then Jesus taught me about the different ways tongues manifest. “Sometimes it flows like a river, smooth and continuous. Sometimes it comes in short bursts. Sometimes it’s quiet and gentle. Sometimes it’s loud and powerful. Don’t try to make it fit into a box. Let my Spirit lead.”
Jesus also addressed people who worry about whether they’re really speaking in tongues or just making it up. “If your heart’s desire is to connect with me and you’re asking for this gift sincerely, trust that I will give you what’s real. Don’t let doubt rob you of what I want to give you.” He showed me a woman who had been speaking in tongues for years, but constantly doubted whether it was real. I could see in the spiritual realm that her prayers in tongues were indeed reaching heaven and accomplishing much. But her doubt was robbing her of the joy and confidence she could have had. “Faith is required for all my gifts,” Jesus said. “When someone receives tongues, they need to walk in faith that it’s from me, just like they walk in faith that they’re saved even when they don’t feel like it.”
Then Jesus began to address some of the supernatural experiences I had heard about in charismatic churches. “Valerie, when my Spirit moves powerfully, supernatural things happen, but not everything supernatural is from me. This is why I gave the gift of discernment of spirits. My people need to test everything.” He showed me churches where genuine moves of God were happening alongside things that weren’t from him. “The enemy loves to mix truth with error to confuse my people. This is why spiritual maturity and discernment are so important.” Jesus addressed the slain in the Spirit phenomenon directly.
“Sometimes when my presence is strong, people are overcome and fall down. This happened in my word. Look at what happened to the soldiers who came to arrest me or to John on the island of Patmos. But it should always result in greater reverence for me and positive spiritual fruit.” But then he showed me places where people were being pushed down or where it was being manufactured for show. “This grieves me because it makes a mockery of genuine spiritual experiences.”
Jesus also addressed the drunken in the Spirit teaching. “My Spirit brings joy and sometimes that joy is so overwhelming that people act in ways that seem strange to observers. But my Spirit always produces self-control and good fruit. If someone claims to be drunk in my Spirit but acts inappropriately or loses all self-control, something is wrong.”
Then Jesus returned to teaching specifically about tongues and its benefits. “One of the greatest benefits of tongues is that it helps my people enter into worship and intimacy with me in ways their natural language cannot. When they worship in tongues, they’re expressing things their heart feels but their mind cannot articulate.”
He showed me believers worshiping in tongues and I could see how it was affecting their relationship with God. They were entering into deeper levels of intimacy and connection than those who only worshiped in their natural language.
Jesus also showed me how tongues helps in spiritual warfare. “When my people pray in tongues against demonic strongholds, the enemy cannot understand what’s being prayed, cannot formulate counterattacks, and cannot resist the power being released.” I watched as believers prayed in tongues over their cities, their families, their nations, and I could see demonic strongholds being shaken and broken in the spiritual realm.
“This is why the enemy fights this gift so hard,” Jesus repeated. “He knows how powerful it is against his kingdom.” Then Jesus addressed something that had always bothered me about some charismatic churches, the emphasis on seeking supernatural experiences. “Valerie, I want my people to seek me, not just my gifts or experiences. The gifts are meant to help them know me better and serve me more effectively, not to be ends in themselves.” He showed me people who chased after supernatural experiences, but never grew in character or holiness.
“This is getting the cart before the horse. Seek first my kingdom and my righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” But then Jesus said something that challenged me. “However, don’t let fear of excess cause you to reject what I want to give you. I am supernatural. My kingdom is supernatural. And I want my people to experience supernatural things. Just keep me at the center.”
Jesus then began to wrap up his teaching by addressing how churches should handle the gift of tongues. “In the church gathering, tongues with interpretation can be a powerful way for me to speak to my people. But it should be done in order with proper interpretation and in a way that edifies everyone present.”
He showed me churches where this was done beautifully. Someone would speak briefly in tongues, another would interpret, and the whole congregation would be blessed by the message from God. But Jesus continued, “The private use of tongues is even more important. This is where my people can build themselves up spiritually, can pray perfect prayers for situations they know nothing about, and can enter into intimate communion with me.” Jesus emphasized that pastors and church leaders need to be open to this gift while also maintaining order and biblical standards. “Leaders who reject tongues entirely are robbing their people of something I want to give them. But leaders who allow chaos and disorder are also not serving my people well. Balance and biblical wisdom are needed.”
Then Jesus made a statement that really impacted me. “Valerie, I want you to know that I’m not limited by denominations or traditions. I work in Baptist churches, Methodist churches, Presbyterian churches, Catholic churches, Pentecostal churches, and non-denominational churches. I give my gifts wherever people are open to receive them.” He showed me believers from every denomination who spoke in tongues, often quietly and privately, because their churches didn’t officially teach it. “My Spirit moves where he wills,” Jesus said. “Don’t put me in a box based on church labels or traditions.” As our time together was coming to an end, Jesus gave me some final instructions about tongues. “When you return, tell my people not to be afraid of this gift. If they desire it, they should ask me for it in faith. If they don’t feel called to it, that’s fine, too. I have other gifts for them, but they shouldn’t oppose it or speak against it because they would be opposing something I’ve given to help my church.”
Jesus also said, “Tell them that tongues are not the most important gift, but it’s not the least important either. Like all my gifts, it has its place and purpose in building up my body.”
He emphasized again that the focus should always be on him, not on any gift. “Gifts without love are meaningless. Character is more important than charisma. But don’t use that as an excuse to reject the supernatural things I want to do.” Finally, Jesus said something that I’ll never forget. “Valerie, I’m preparing my church for the greatest outpouring of my Spirit the world has ever seen. In these last days, I’m going to move in power like never before. Tongues will be one of the ways my people stay connected to me and to my plans during the turbulent times ahead.”
He showed me a vision of believers all around the world praying in tongues during times of great persecution and trouble and how those prayers were creating protection, providing guidance and releasing supernatural intervention. “This gift will be vital in the days to come,” Jesus said. “Those who have it will be able to pray effectively even when they don’t understand what’s happening around them.”
Then suddenly I felt a pulling sensation and Jesus began to fade from my sight. But his last words were, “Remember everything I’ve shown you. My people need to understand the truth about this gift.” The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the ICU with my husband, Mark, crying over me. The doctor said it was a miracle. I had been dead for 18 minutes, and they had expected severe brain damage if I survived at all. But here I was, completely normal with the most incredible experience to share.
When I told Mark what had happened, he was skeptical at first. We had both been taught against tongues our whole lives. But as I shared everything Jesus had shown me, and as we studied the scriptures together, we both realized we had been wrong. 3 weeks after my experience, while praying alone in my room, I began to speak in tongues for the first time in my life. It started as just a few syllables, but as I stepped out in faith, it grew into a beautiful prayer language that I now use daily.
Mark received the gift a week later, and our prayer life has been completely transformed. We now understand why Paul said he spoke in tongues more than everyone. It’s such a powerful tool for spiritual growth and warfare.
Our pastor was initially concerned when we shared our experience, but after studying the scriptures and seeing the positive fruit in our lives, he’s become open to learning more. Several people in our church have since received the gift of tongues, and our whole congregation has experienced a new level of spiritual power and intimacy with God.
I want to be clear, I’m not saying everyone must speak in tongues. Jesus made it clear that he gives different gifts to different people. But I am saying that if this is something you desire, don’t let fear or tradition stop you from asking God for it. What Jesus revealed to me about speaking in tongues has completely changed my relationship with God. I now have a prayer language that allows me to communicate with him in ways my natural mind never could. I’ve experienced answered prayers, spiritual breakthrough, and intimacy with God that I never knew was possible.
If you’re watching this video and you’ve been taught against tongues, I encourage you to search the scriptures for yourself. Don’t let anyone’s opinion, including mine, be the final word. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you the truth. And if you desire to speak in tongues, I encourage you to ask God for this gift. Come to him with a humble heart. Forgive anyone you need to forgive and ask in faith. He loves to give good gifts to his children.
The gift of tongues isn’t weird or scary. It’s a beautiful way to connect with our heavenly Father. It’s a tool for spiritual warfare, a means of intercession, and a pathway to deeper intimacy with God. Don’t let fear, tradition, or pride rob you of what God wants to give you. He loves you. He has good gifts for you and he wants to use you in supernatural ways to advance his kingdom.
